Rear Diff service
« on: May 24, 2008, 09:12:49 AM »

How often do you service the rear diff on your tow vehicle and what oil do you use??? I was told at the dealer to do it every 10-15k. to me that sounds like a sales job. (but I could be wrong).

I try and service the diffs on my rigs every 30k under normal day to day driving, I have let them go as long as 45K But I think that was just to long.

If I was towing regularly I would only go about 20k personally.

What? service the what?  Just kidding - I only do this once a year on the motorhome, and replace the trani fluid at the sametime.  I think I'm due actually.
