Trailer driving school
« on: November 30, 2007, 06:30:44 AM »

Trying to get input from all on this site about trailer driving school. We would offer tips and advice on how to  properly hook-up, pull, back, and park trailers of all sizes. Many other things as well like what to do when sway occurs, as well as many other tips.

Sounds like a good idea.  You could hook up with the R.V. sales lots offering to new buyers, and perhaps offer a certificate that would allow them some sort of discount through various insurance companies.

I think it's time to bring back the DD technique of backing by sound.  Who needs mirrors when you can just roll down the window and listen for the crunching sound that you have backed in far enough.  That's why they have bumpers on the trailers right?

I do think it is a good idea for people that just bought their new toy and would like some pointers on how to do it right.
