overdrive or under drive units
« on: November 25, 2007, 07:34:24 AM »

I'm looking at getting a gear vendors or U.S. Gear overdrive unit. Has anybody used one or have done any research on them, any comments would be appreciated. I'm concerned about the torque the Cummins put on this type of unit and the heavy trailer I pull. I have a 6spd manual trans in my 4wd truck.

I don't think you have anything to worry about V.P. , the running gear in the cummins are very strong . there are guys out there pushing 1000 h.p. on stock running gear .
