What do you pull and with what?
« on: October 28, 2007, 09:26:42 AM »

I pull a Weekend Warrior FSW3200 (approx 16k loaded) with a Cummins 04.5 six speed, Timbrens at all 4 corners,  cold air intake, no cat, edelbrock muffler, and rokktech timing advance, also auto meter phantom II gauges mounted above the rear view mirror.

I pull a Wanderer Wagon 5th wheel 365WTB FW.  It is around 15,900 fully loaded though I run without water until Reeds Port, saving 900 + lbs.  I tow it with a stock 2002 2500 HD Chevy Duramax with the only mod being a K + N air filter.  Stock springs and shocks with 110,000 on the odometer, four kids, five ATV's and just over 23,0000 lbs GCVW, it even pulls it out into the sand.

DJ's got a memory like a steel trap.  We had to use 8-wheel drive to get out of that predicament.  When we set his trailer on my stock suspended truck it set the rear bumper into the sand.  Those Timbrens really work.

I have an 04 dodge cummins . It's been slightly tweeked to put out just shy off 700 rear wheel h.p. & over 1400 ft.lbs of tourqe . By this next summer we are going to be between 800 & 1000 h.p. & over 1500 ft.lbs. of tourqe , so I can pull whatever I want !! ( neener neener ! )  Since the last ime I posted , I have changed downloaders & put in a modified injection pump with a dual feed line to the fuel rail . To get to my new h.p. goal , I will have to swap out my twin turbos for a larger set from industrial injection ( the race twins ) , swap out my 100 h.p. injectors for a larger set , and go to a dual cp3 injection pump setup that will utilize the pump I already put in . When it's all said and done , I should be able to do the 1/4 mile in the mid 11's to low 12's ( if not a hair faster , hopefully ).

It's been slightly tweeked...

Yeah,  Just a few little mods.  Like one step cooler spark plugs, carb spacer and dual muffler bearings...

I tow 18,000# combined , 34' Jayco Travel trailer, two quad Ultimate bed rack with a 04 6.0 F-350. K&N only. Been lucky without very many 6.0 issues. Pulls great, 55 over Sextons without a prob. Could go faster but I don't want to push it. I don't know my true power numbers but those duel muffler bearings sound cool Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy. Sounds like a bunch of Dodge dudes with this group.I guess thats ok. As long as you get to where you want to ride, It's all good.

I tried the 8mm plug wires for better performance.  Then I forgot which wires went to which cylinder and had it all messed up.  Even after many different wire configurations the thing still diesels.  Plus, I can tell it is running on less than all 8, when I get on it black smoke exists the pipe.
Shane, what's that firing order again?

Wait a minute... Why am I asking you?  You only have to wire up six cylinders on that Dodge.

I thought the firing order just went 1 - 8 , going clockwise around the block . Isn't that the way the rotor spins ? It should tell you on the butterfly valve of the carb.

I have a huge 8' trailer I tow with a '69 bug.  We hit top speed traveling downhill backwards.

Just kidding.
