I have just recieved some product from this company to try out and this guy is great, Kudos to Mark at X-Tream clean for the new product. I will be using it this weekend on some X-Tremly dirty quads and will post before and after pictures. Check out his web site at http://www.xtreamclean.com/Posted on: October 05, 2007, 06:41:12 AM
Well I just got done cleaning 4 quads with this new product and it's the first one I have ever used that does exactly what is advertised. This Stuff is GREAT. I hosed down the quads, sprayed on the cleaner, waited approx 3 min and hosed back down to a clean quad. I'm talking chain grease on the swing arm, GONE, grease and oil from under the motor, GONE and the quads looks like new again. I finished with the mud guard, so we will see how it goes after the next ride. I will follow up with picture of before and after in the next day or so. Pat

I just wanted to thank Patrick for giving X-Tream Clean a try and for posting the information in the forum. It is greatly appreciated. Also just to give you a feel of what other uses our MX / ATV Wash can be used to clean. This product is ready to use as is, but can be diluted with water as a 1:1 ratio and is still very effective at cleaning. Myself, and many of our customers, have used this product for many other purposes. I myself use it to clean our riding boots, chest protectors, goggles, trailers inside and out, lawn equipment, tires and rims on the cars, showers, carpet, linoleum flooring, our Rubbermaid containers that we use to carry all our Rubbermaid/ATV stuff, stains on the clothing - riding jersey, pants and sox's. It is a pretty versatile product. Please visit our site, www.xtreamclean.com, to find more information about all of our products. If you have any question please email or call me mark@xtreamclean.com, 704-236-4391

you can clean about 5 quads with a 32 oz bottle. I used it full strengh, but you can dilute 50% and still get great results.

so i just used the new product... and it does do exactly as advertised. however in my opinion it still doesn't beat a good hand wash and scrub. i also am a huge fan of "Adams" premium car care products. the Rubber, Tire, and vinyl guard. just rub it on all plastic, your seat tire, pretty much everything thats not metal and it totaly restores your plastic. gives it a nice shine and doesnt deteriorate plastic like Armoral. Armoral is a petroleum based product so it actually breaks down plastic, "Adams" is water based so it is in no way harmful to your stuff. i also fear that X-treme clean also contains harsh chemicals that will break down plastics. it smells like hard chemicals and feels slipery like a hard Base.

Tippy, are you having a PMS day. Since when did you become a chemist?? The stuff works from the pictures and seems to do a great job without have to give a hand job as well. If you like using your hands that much, it's OK. we will understand, but this fellow Mark seems to have done his homework and the chemical he is using will not hurt metal or plastic.

Well DJ, If I were to buy you a B D present, I wouldn't buy you some cleaner. I would buy you a 6 pack or a baby rattle. Not cleaner.

Tippy, Thanks for the review. As you stated a good "hand" washing is hard to beat. But, our intentions with our products are to speed the washing process up so you don't have to spend all day cleaning or busting your knuckles. We realize that some people will hand wash reguardless, with or without our products, and thats fine. I myself do spend more time than most cleaning. Concerning chemical content in X-Tream Clean MX / ATV Wash. There is nothing in the Wash that will harm any metal, rubber, plastic, decals or vinyl. There is actually a component of wax in the Wash to give shine and water sheeting capabilities. It will not break down plastic. It is completely safe and can be used on all parts of a ATV or MX bike. The "slippery" feel you noticed is one of the key components of the product. It is what makes the mud and grime slide off and enables the Wash to do it's job. The smell is a kiwi fragrance. The product is water based and contains no solvents. Thanks again and if anyone has any questions please email me mark@xtreamclean.com.

well thanks for that mark. like i said there is nothing wrong with its performance, im still concerned with how it does what it does. As i said i still prefer hand washing and scrubbing is always the best way to go in my opinion.

This product sound very good.
Remember boys and girls, that any product that leaves a "slippery" feel to the surface should be used with caution on the seat. The first time you go and lean into a turn your off the seat like eggs in a non-stick frying pan. I used a shine enhancer on the V-Force plastic, tires and seat. The ATV looked great against the back drop of the golden sand and clear blue sky. I had a great vantage point from my back as I stared at the shiny machine waiting for the pain, after the two rolls with a half twist, but I didn't stick the landing 2 point deduction.

I think I may have lead some in the wrong direction concerning "slippery". Our product does feel slippery, but it will not add slip, or make your seat, metal, plastic etc... slippery like an Armoral product. There are no silicones in the MX / ATV Wash. Slip refers to our objective of allowing something to be easily removed or washed away.

Thanks for the clarification.
I will be bringing my ATV's to VP's house this weekend so he can demonstrate his quad washing abilities and the great product from X-Tream Clean.
It sounds like they need to come aboard as a sponsor. What say yee Mark? Help us out by cleaning up this club...

This product is everything that the manufacturer claims that it is. Unfortunately, you will have to wait for my full review to be printed in Dirtwheels.
I washed two bikes side by side. One with the XTream product and a regular hose. The other with a pressure washer and regular soaps etc. The XTream product far exceeded my expectations.
If you are considering saving time and likely money on cleaning and cleaning products, I would strongly recommend trying this product for yourself. I give the product 5 stars.
