Know anybody who has purchased a Polaris RZR?

I'm curious if any of you know anyone who has purchased a RZR, especially if they got it from KHM, Kawasaki & Honda of Medford.  I gave them a deposit over six months ago which positioned me to get the fourth RZR they would receive.  I have a sales contract stating delivery to be summer 2007 and I think today is the last day of summer.  Also in early August I was given a ship date of 8/30 and they keep telling me it hasn't shipped yet.  I spoke with the dealer in Klamath Falls and he has already delivered 9 RZRs and is expecting his 10th soon.  Should I believe what KHM is telling me or is it time for me to contact some sort of state agency (does OR have a Dept. of Consumer Affairs or something similar?)?  I contacted Polaris today and gave them the order # for my RZR and informed them of the situation....they are to get back to me within two days.  Have a great weekend and thanks for any info or replies!!

I have seen several around the dunes. Hope you get yours soon. How did the trailer mishap work out. Was it that weekend I saw you come into my work??

I spoke with the dealer in Yreka yesterday.  They have already delivered 4 RZRs and have 4 coming.  They are a really small dealership so KHM should get more RZRs than they do.  I figure I'm being lied to by KHM.  Does OR have some state agency that I can contact since they have not complied with the sales contract?  My son took the Ragen to Triple A RV.  The estimate for the repairs is 2 grand.

If you gave them money, I'd simply tell them to give it back.  I would also let Polaris know.

Seems very weird to me.  If they have your deposit and know you are ready to purchase the machine as soon as it comes in, they would have called you if they received the machine.  The only other reasons would be is that they sold it to someone else and have lost place of your contract or they have not received any RZR's since early summer.  Did you make a special order?  Order the green instead of red?  I have always received great service from KHM and this situation surprises me.  You might have to wait to see what Polaris says about your order#.   Keep us posted.

Sounds like someone is ripping you off. If you put money down on a bike before someone else did, they you got to know that they are ripping you off.  I would go to there place and tell them.  My money back NOW  or else.

Here in winchester Bay over Labor day weekend, I bet I seen around 50 or 60 of them.  Lots of people have them now.

I didn't specify a color and either color is ok with me.  My suspicion is that they moved somebody who has purchase a lot of accessories in front of me.  I got a call back yesterday from Polaris....she verified some info I gave them.  She couldn't contract KHM yesterday as they were closed.  She said she will call me back today after speaking with them.  I could tell by the tone of her voice that it didn't sound right to her that I didn't have the RZR yet.  I'm sure I could go get my deposit back but then I'd have to get on  somebody else's waiting list and that would be many more months, unless I can find one somewhere on the dealer floor.  Also the prices have gone up since my deal was signed.
Posted on: September 25, 2007, 11:44:47 AMGRRRRR....here's an  update....Sara from Polaris called me back todoay.  She informed me that I will be receiving the next RZR that KHM receives.  That the owner, manager etc. was not available but the person in finance assured her that I was at the top of the list.  This is not news to me....that's what they've been telling me for months!!!  I asked her a number of questions and she said she would either note that or I would have to contact the dealer for the info......of course, KHM is saying I have to get that info from Polaris......I am getting nothing but BS, runaround, possibly out & out lies from both.  Sara/Polaris would not give me to anyone above her in the company.  I asked her if she signs the checks there.....she actually said no.....but once again would not let me speak to anyone else...said that she was as high as I could go.  I asked for the name/# of the area rep/sales manager.....she said I would have to get that from KHM....the heck of it is, I had already asked KHM for that info and they said I would have to get that info from Polaris......grrrrrrrr!!!!!

Here's another update.  I got a message from KHM today stating that now my RZR won't ship until Oct 4.....this is after they assured me it was shipping on Sept. 27.  I have once again offered to purchase the RZR that they have been putting the accessories on (the owners) in the back....they could simply unbolt the goodies they've bolted on and put it back stock and sell it to me and put those goodies on the next one that comes in.
Posted on: September 29, 2007, 09:51:31 AMUpdate....I just had a good conversation with the owner of KHM.  He informed me that he won't sell his RZR do to the fact that he is waiting for parts that are subject to a recall.  Polaris is correcting and changing parts on the RZR during this production run and that my RZR will have the latest corrections......gee, it's a shame that Polaris didn't have the integrity to tell me about some of the problems that he did.

One of our members friends had a razor at our Trike Rampage back in early summer. He let anyone ride it and play with it as much as we wanted.  I can tell you that they are really nice. With that 800 cc motor it really scoots.  I really like them but for me I would rather have the new Rhino with the 700r motor. They have more room in the back of them for hauling stuff where the razor hasn't hardly any room at all.  JMO.

Well, I finally got it!!!  We were up at Winchester/Discovery Pt. for the poker run and I got a call from Jason on friday afternoon letting me know that it was in and ready to go.  We drove from Discovery to Medford on sat morning and then back to Discovery for the poker run.  I missed doing the poker run (had my kid pick up my envelopes/cards for the run) but got in on the group photo in the RZR of 70+ of us stacked in rows going up Banshee Hill.  I put nearly 50 miles on the RZR before heading home at noon on Sunday.  The RZR is awesome!!!  Also mine is green and has changes/upgrades from the first release (red) RZR's.
