The Oregon Motorcycle Riders Association (OMRA) and its various clubs will be hosting their annual legislative-funding event. Your favorite clubs have come together to hold this fund raiser to help keep some of the greatest trails in the world open and protected! If you love riding in the Tillamook State Forest, come join us for a great time! This event will be a family-oriented poker run with free hot dogs and sodas to the first 100 riders (out on the course)! There will be prizes and gift certificates donated from regional businesses, plus a $50 cash prize to one lucky entry! The courses will consist of an easy route (approximately 30 miles) and a more challenging course (motorbikes only) consisting of approximately 35 miles. All bikes and ATVs are welcome.

WHEN: Saturday, August 18, 2007. Signup is between 8am ~ 10am.

WHERE: Jordan Creek OHV Park, located in the beautiful Tillamook State Forest. Jordan Creek exit is approximately six miles west of Lee’s Camp Store on State Hwy. 6. On State Highway 6, turn south at milepost 18 onto Jordan Creek Road, drive 2 miles to OHV staging area.

REQUIREMENTS: to be compliant in Tillamook State Forest, all vehicles must have proper State OHV Tags, spark arrestors and all riders must wear helmets. State OHV Tags can be purchased at your local DMV, local OHV shops or at the Glenwood Store on Hwy 6.

COST: Only $20 per person or $40 per family. Proceeds go directly to the OMRA Legislative Fund that pays for legal fees to fight the continual OHV access closures throughout the state. This is a great opportunity to donate to help fund the good fight, plus have a great time!

For more information on this event, please contact Ed at 503-572-1400 or Dan at 503-913-0528 or visit the OMRA website at: www.omraoffroad.com
