SLED PULLS
« on: July 23, 2007, 04:24:12 PM »

Over the weekend they held some sled pulls over in Amity , Or. We were huffin' & puffin' tryin' to get my buddies '03 ford 6.0 L going after having the cab off to do head studs , gaskets , ect . They were able to put the cab on the frame sat. , we got it fired up on sun. morning and we were off to the pulls . We finished up all the loose ends when we got there . We didn't even have time to put the hood on before we left the garage . Long story short , at the end of the day , my buddy Joel and his trusty 6.0L ended up with 3rd place in the super stock class and the ol' dodge and I were able to get 1st place in the unlimited class ( boy do I need ladder bars , but that's a dune fest , diesel and Smirnoff story ).

PDP,
Go with One Up Offroad's ladder bar set up.  It is top notch.
(and they're local).

I actually had to have some made . From what I've been told , nobody makes ladder bars for any of the dodge p.u.s that are '03 and up . I guess your not suppost to drill or weld to the frame , but wait a minute , isn't that how they mount the spring hangers ? So anyway , I am having some made and I' going to weld them suckers to the frame and axle and go try it again and see what she does .
