Pat,
This is the reason we don't go to Florence much. Hard to find a spot to camp that has dune access.
Winter months are cool to stay in the OHV loop at Honeyman.
You have to be a member to stay at Oddfellows.
I "think" there is dry camping (not out in the sand) available @ the south end of the Florence Dunes; but I have never stayed there so don't quote me on that.
There was a spot called Woahink (spelling?) about the middle of the dunes that had dune access. We came across it one time while riding. It was approx. 1-2 miles south of the dune access trail that leads out of Honeyman. That was 6-7 years ago though - so I have no idea if it is still there/open. It was just a little RV park.

Update:
We stayed here:
http://www.sanddunesfrontier.com/camping.htmthis past weekend and I can say that I will definately be going back!
It is dry camping w/ no hookups but we were secluded in the trees in our own 4 spots; 52 a&b and 53 a&b.
Dune access trail is wide and not steep and this place is right next to Honeyman State Park.
No need to ride out to the good dunes from the northern 2 parking lots because you're already there!
The only downside that I can see is that it would be a bit muddy (mess) during rainy days in and around campspots, but the weather was perfect for us on Oct. 11 - 14, 2007.
