Without paddle tires the Blue 700 is slower than the Orange one in the Sand. It stumbled at first then ran better as the weekend went on. It was running very rich for you can smell the fuel in the exhaust. Plus, it was using 1/4 more fuel than the Orange 700. I wonder if the floats are bad from being upside down when it had it's accident with the previous owner?

Humpty (it fell down the Dune and the last owner spent $1800 replacing all the broken parts) goes in next Wed. to see what they can see about the carbs running rich. At $3.79 a gallon for gas and it drinking fuel like VP with Monster, I will be broke by June.

The master mechanic gave Humpty a clean bill of health. Said he could find nothing wrong with the beast. Well, we shall see when it heads to Florence in June, if the Doctor is correct...
