better pulling with new muffler
« on: April 17, 2007, 06:43:55 AM »

I went to a Edelbrock straight through muffler and really dropped my egt's. The Best part of this is I got 3 mpg's better pulling my trailer. I went from 10.3 to 13.1 with the only difference being the new muffler. This is great.

It's all luck, I was just wanting to lower my EGT's. The milage was a side effect.

I heard wearing boxers will lower your EGT's.  But, I don't know if you get any more mileage out of them or not?

I think I read somewhere that having a high EGT is somehow connected with male pattern baldness?  Any truth to this?

Oh, and duraraptor is called for a 5 min major for slashing.  Off to the Chat Room, while your side skates a man short.

Actually, I believe there is truth to this.  If you understand that E.G.T.  really is the abbreviation for Early Globehead Trama.  Did I actually say that -- bad boy -- ok now I'm going to the time out room.
