Introduce Myself

Hello to all,

  I just wanted to introduce our family to TI. My name is Randy and along with my wife (Amanda) we have 2 girls (Kylie age 8 and Kami age 5); we had just recently moved from Central Point, OR. to Brookings, OR. After a road trip thru Florence about 2 months ago, we got "hooked" again on Quads (after nearly 15 years away from the sport). In the last month we have purchased a quad for each of the above family members. We are "new" again to this sport and are looking forward to joining TI as a family and meeting other members.

Glad you got back into the sport!  I am sure you will really enjoy being back.  Once a duner, always a duner.

My wife and I both ride as well.  I look forward to meeting you in the near future, since I (now we) are the only T.I. members in Brookings.

Many of our current T.I. members are on a dune trip for spring break.  I am sure you will receive a warm welcome when they all return. 

So, tell me, what do you do here in Brookings, what bikes did you buy for the family, and what ever else you want to tell us!

Hey Dune Junkie..... Glad to see another T.I. member here in Brookings!  We moved here in Aug '06.  We own a Trucking Company and Brokerage.  Our trucks are mainly based out of the Medford area, but we can live anywhere, so we chose to live on the beautiful Oregon coast!  After our trip to Florence a few months ago, we got the "bug" again, so we went out and bought me an ' 03 Banshee ( stock ), the wife an '03  Z400 and our girls two 80's.  We have a flatbed trailer right now, but we're looking into getting a Toy Hauler.  We're really looking forward to meeting people and camping at the dunes.
So DJ, what do you and your wife do here in Brookings?  Have you been here long?  What do you guys ride?

well, welcome again, and it seems that you are back into the sport with both feet!  Congrats!

I am in the Coast Guard here in Brookings. I have been active duty for almost 14 years.  I have been stationed here in Brookings since 1999, and sadly, have to transfer next year in 2008.  Not far we hope!  My wife (Brookings born and raised) is currently enrolled at the Vogue Beauty Academy in Crescent City.  She drives down every day for class.  She will graduate in June.
I have a Yamaha YFZ 450, and my wife has a Honda 400ex.  We currently have a toyhauler, a 19' Keystone-Tailgator, however, we are looking to upgrade, just haven't found something we are happy with.

   We just got back at around 10:30 Last night. Boy what a trip. Got to meet up with some of the members on the site. Big dog, yfz450 guy and our own group, Wendy, Mike and Matt with his family. Great time and nice weather. BOY AM I SORE, but it's nice to have this feeling once in a while. My name is Pat, my wife Lisa and we have 2 boys. Tyler (12) and Garrett (7). It's always nice to see new families join and ride with TI. Keep checking the trips and events section so we can get out on a ride together and enjoy that beautiful Oregon coast. (we are going again April 14th,  15th and 16th) to Winchester Bay if your family would like to join us. Again Welcome aboard and glad to see you back in the sport.

hey vp, you are supposed to be going to the SWR clean up!  Wrong dates my friend!  What are you thinkin?  Come on, we need all the help and support we can!  Just giving you a hard time, I bet your going those dates because of work schedule! fri-mon!

OK well, as you noticed, there are now 2 T.I. folks over here in Brookings, so, I am sure more will be comeing this way and soon, our club meetings will be over here!  hahaha!

Sandflicker here / we just got home / I mean we just walked in.  Anyway I am so sore as well (mainly the left shoulder) - it's those unused muscles reminding me where they are.
Collin / Jeanne and Colton here (this week end our teen age daughter Ashton was with us).  Had  a great time.
