Radar Detectors
« on: February 10, 2007, 08:11:53 AM »

Do you use one? What kind? Has it saved you before?

Do you believe they work?

Now, before you say "Just don't speed and you don't have anything to worry about!" or any thing else, I am not looking for excuses to speed, break the law, or anything else, I am just seeing what some opinions are on the subject.

I have one in my truck and I haven't even been pulled over . I think mine is a cobra . Radar detectors work o.k. . If your paying attention , it'll give you just enough time to slow it  down a bit before you get hit full on with the radar gun . They do have some now that are suppost to detect lazer guns as well .

I used to own one a loooonnnnggg time ago, but have not used one for several years..

Seems that just as soon as you get the "latest and greatest", they come out with a new type of radar, or some other way to get around your detector....  LOL Grin

Buy the  Valentine-1 you will not be sorry. I can pick off the cops far before they ever see me.

The only time I had a close call was late night on HWY38, no cars for about 20 minutes and he hit me with instant on Angry
