A couple of friends and I are going down to Winchester Bay on Sat for an all day ride, then on to Florence on Sun morning for 1/2 ride before we head home. Anyone who cares to join is more than welcome!  |

well, just to let you know, its POURING RAIN here on the coast right now...........  So you live down on the coast?? Where at?? I'm hoping it lets up by Sat................. Been SEVERAL months since I've been riding!!  |

There was an article in the GP paper today about a Rally at the Myrtle Wood Factory in Hauser this Saturday at 2 pm protesting Senate Bill 49. The man organizing it is Ron Zeltvay and he is looking for support and any help he can get getting the news media to show up for the event. I think he said channel 16 out of Eugene is supposed to cover it. Could you please spread the word for him. Try and make it if you can!

I'll be getting back from Vegas at 1 am on Sat morning,, no dunes for me until the following weekend.

I won't be able to get up there, we are going with a group to Coos Bay, we also have a couple of non duner friends (street riders) that are going along to get run through the ringer However we are really looking forfard to getting together in the near future with the TI group !!! |

Ok, just a little update on the trip..... The weather pretty much SUCKED!!!  We waited for about an hour for the rain to die down a bit so we could unload the ATVs and get some riding in. The rain died down a little and we unloaded Scotts 250R and jetted it, then the rain came back, so we headed back inot the truck. About 45 min later the rain subsided again. We unloaded my YFZ and went for about an hour and a half ride when it started POURING down!! So we high-tailed it back to the truck (from the back side if Winchester). Needless to say, we were EXTREMELY soaked from head to toe!! Went back to the motel, took a nap, went out for Thai food, went back to the motel, drank some Black Velvet reserve and coke, went to the local bar and played some pool. Came home today without riding as it was raining again this morning.... GEEZE I just want some nice riding weather!! |

Got to love the winters at the coast Sorry about your luck but it still sounds like you had a good time. I hope the weather cooperates next weekend for everyone thats going out. Yeah, weather sucked, but we still got in a few tree-shots. The sand this time of year will certainly rob you of power!! I tried to side hill a bit and got sucked down the hill into a tree!  Luckily, I was able to get myself out of that situation, but it was a little "hairy" there for a few seconds!! LOL |

Dune Dude, we drove up to the myrtlewood place to join in on that Bill-49 rally and there was no one there. We couldn't find anyone that knew anything. We figured that they must have canceled it because of the rain.

We were right in the front corner of the store with quads lined up.
Although, I must say, there wasn't a full trailer load of people there.
