Isn't this a cute little document.  I like they way they use big numbers to scare everyone.  Do they offer comparisons to to other activities....no.
It is the same logic as..
Did you know----
100% of people injured on ATV's were riding ATV's?
ATV's account for all ATV related accidents?
Over 115000 nonfatal injuries every year?  That's the whole population of Josephine County.   If 1 in 100 people in that county have an ATV = 1150 ATV's  then the people that ride them have a 10000% chance of getting injured.

don't get me wrong, I by no way am backing up what the article said.........I am just putting it out there for others to read.  I don't agree with the "numbers" they post, and I don't agree with how they gather their numbers.

But, its stuff like that that kicks us in the rump!

DJ, I know you are an avid ATV guy.  U DA MAN!!   Grin
My sarcasm is directed at the people that post this info (anti-atv) and the tactics they use.  If I don't ride Atv's and I see these huge numbers I must assume that someone needs to stop these things from being sold.  "Hidden epidemic" 115,000 injuries a year.  Out of what 6 million atv's in use, when this report was published.
