I thought we needed a place on the forum for you ATV Experts to voice your ideas on how to make our sport safer. List your thoughts and ramblings. I bet we can come up with some proposals that will allow all to ride and reduce injuries.
I believe in Helmets for everyone. Just plain smart.
NO 2-up riding, (unless the ATV is designed for such purpose) See my rant under Senate Bill 49.
Each accident involves 2 injuries. Plus, it goes against Manufactures Recommendations.
ATV Safety Training for everyone who operates an ATV. You get a card demonstrating you understand the basics of riding an ATV by teaching and Actual riding techniques.

How about always having a spotter when cresting a hill, or jumping?? I see a few idiots now and then catching air off of a jump or lip without knowing whats on the other side. I't be good to have spotters at the top of hills too when people are racing up them......  |

How about wearing a lanyard with personnel info, I read about them on a Search and Rescue sight. And wear one now.
name, age, address, blood type, allergy's, medicine you take, physicians name, emergency contacts, anything that will help the EMT's save your life.
It would be nice to have a person from the Search and Rescue team at a meeting, explain how to respond to a rider who has crashed, neck injury's , back injury's. Moving them with out proper restraints could injure them permanently.
A satellite photo of the ride areas would be handy to show the exact location of the victim, so many times I run into the S & R looking for a downed rider. Nobody met them in the parking area to show them the way to the rider.

RESCUE FACTS IS A GREAT LINK, I HOPE EVERY ONE WILL LOOK THEM UP AND START USING THERE PRODUCTS.
WEARING A HELMET IS JUST THE START OF MAKING SURE EVERY RIDE ENDS SAFE.
