cedar plank salmon

First you have to soak the cedar plank in water for about an hour or two . Throw it on the b.b.q. with the salmon on the plank ( you need a spray bottle handy in case the plank decides to catch on fire , no big deal .) . Cook 'till the fish is done , cause nobody likes sushi . Throw the following in a blender... a bundle of cilantro , 4 jalapenos ( only throw in about 30 seeds ) , squeeze the juice from 4 limes , and add approx. 1/2 - 1 cup of half and half . Blend to a sauce . My choice of side is the Zateran's black beans and rice . Serve salmon with rice , pour sauce on everything !!! It's a killer meal . Throw some shrimp or oysters in there for an additional side if you like . Go ahead ... impress someone .

And then to make it really special, open a can of spam, cut it in half and put on top of salmon, the two flavors will meld together, de-lish.LMBO
