Class v hitch
« on: December 24, 2006, 08:22:07 AM »

Well I guess I've been towing with the wrong hitch set up. I sold the trailer yesterday and the hitch along with it. I am looking at this class v hitch and weight dist. system from putnam.
http://trailersnhitches.com/putnamcart/25211.html
http://trailersnhitches.com/putnam/hitchacc/weightdist/weightdist.htm
and this ball
http://www.trailersnhitches.com/putnamcart/94050.html
or this one , I don't know if I should get a raw ball instead of chrome, (the chrome is rated at 16,000 while the raw is rated at 30,000)

Help me decide so I can order it soon.

ALSO if you can help me find a better deal, PLEASE POST for me.

Thank you
VP.

VP,
Give the guys at Auto Wheel Corp. a call.  I have used them before on a few items and I have been very impressed with their knowledge.  479-3325

Thanks DD. I will call them. I have found out that I can get it here for about $100.00 dollars less installed here in Medford,  than online.

The hitch is in. Trailer and RV parts wharehouse was impossible to beat price wise. He did the work and got me all set up for 579.98 INSTALLED. That included the 14,000 pound weight dist. hitch, 30,000 pound ball and Putnam 16,000 hitch. What a deal.
