Well , I spent 12 hours yesterday , 2 hours today and I'm proud to say , we have twins !! I also installed the intake manifold . That only toke about 1/2 hour . There is , however , a little problem with the EGTs . Running a basicly stock motor with the twins , has raised my EGTs by about 100 degrees . This little problem should be cured when I install the bigger injectors and the intercooler . The water methanol will really help out on the highway though , beings that it works off the boost level it's set at . Other than that , I like 'em alot !! I just drove a little bit around town , staying close to my house ( just in case somthing comes loose ) , and the looks I got pulling away from a stop light were pretty cool . They didnt know what that sound was ! Was it a jet taking off ? NOPE !! It was that bad ass dodge leaving all the " fast & furius " wanna be's staring at my tail lights . And there is nothing cooler than the huge whissle sound you get when your taking off !!!  |

Well , the temperature difference is only on the bottom , when your taking off . Once you get out on the highway , it runs cooler than it did before . I had those things spoolin' up pretty good today when I road tested it on the highway and I never saw the EGTs get over 890 . Before , It didnt take hardly anything to get the EGTs over 1000 . If I honked on the throttle really good before , I could get up to 1300 , so long story short , it was a very good investment . And yea , D.J. , if I don't make it down there during the summer , I suppose I will see alot of you guys at dunefest ...... right ? DON'T FLAKE OUT IN '07 !!!! YOU GUYS GOTTA SUPPORT THE CLUB ( and watch V.P. drink his fill of diesel , trust me , it's funny ) .  |
