When I pull a small utl trailer, I may lose only 1 mile per gallon. BUT, when I hook up to the toy hauler, I am lucky to get 12-13 mpg's. The difference is the Diesel can pull the heavy loads much better than a Gasser and not react as much to the weight as the gas engine does. You do however hear the turbo sing a pretty tune, and that translates to work the engine is doing, so it needs to drink more to do so. Just like us when we work hard, we eat more.

So what should I expect pulling a 8 1/2' wide by 20' long enclosed trailer (utility type, NOT toy hauler type)  with 2-4 ATVs in it??
