We may leave tomorrow pm and head to Winchester.....thinking about just going as far as Canyonville and staying at the new rv park by the truck stop. Have any of you stayed there yet? Online pics look pretty nice. I guess it opened in August. Is it better to try and stay at the RV park that's next to the casino....as I understand it is still open but is first come first serve. Lemme know what ya think.....have a great evening!!

We have not stayed there but did drive through. It looks VERY nice. Walking paths, pool, grass, very clean, of course it's new. I personaly would stay there before the one by the casino. It also has a shuttle to the casino if needed. Just my opinion.

We stayed there wednesday night and it is excellent. Jacuzzi and heated pool that was really heated. Cost was $31.50 for a pull thru site (with AAA dicsount). Shuttle bus comes by about every 15 minutes to take or return you from the Casino or Creekside Restaurant (truckstop). At this time you access the campground thru the truckstop parking area but they are constructing a direct road so that you won't need to drive thru the truckstop. They are adding another 100 RV sites and a golf course and waterpark. I did not ask but I doubt if they would permit unloading the toys while camping there. They also have an RV dumpstation there but I don't know what they charge to dump. Have a great day!!!!
