What's going on around here?

What is wrong with the site lately? I read posts and posted my self earlier today and they are not here now!!  Plus the site is running so slow. I'm involved with another board also powered by PHP and they are having problems too.

Also I noticed that the latest posts are very old like sept. 12th, there are a few new ones but most are old.

Date Posted: September 22, 2006, 09:48:14 AMI just talked with our hosting guy yesterday and he said that he's been having lots of problems with the company he uses. He switched us over to a new server last evening though, so hopefully everything should work smoothly from now on. However, still let me know if anyone notices anything strange.

Hello everyone,

My name is Shawn and I handle the hosting. Things should be fixed for server response and speed. We have moved to a different host since our last one kept on having issues and just seemed to be getting worse and not better even when they switched to a newer computer.

Let Michael know if there are any issues and he will contact me if it is server related. But, this should fix the issues with the server and now we left Michael with some programing changes to repair site issue the move caused - sorry Michael.

the site seems to be cruising right along...........no problems!

Server speeds and transfer speeds are up from the last server, this means less waiting time (at least for those on broadband) and we are seeing much better support and consistancy with this server.

I see Michael has all the images working again. I have to hand it to Michael, he is learning fast and able to get things fixed!

Just wanted to pass on a little note about the forum being off for upgrades. We have moved servers again and this time we have doubled the server power and access speeds. You should notice quicker page loads and better service all together.

Working on that. It might be a while, though.

In the meantime, if you have the google toolbar, that has a spell checker built in. It basically spell checks any textbox that you are typing into. That would be handy tool for usage at other places that don't have any spell checker.

Posted on: March 05, 2007, 10:31:51 AMI installed a new spell checker. It doesn't tell you the correct spelling, but it should tell you if a word it misspelled. I don't know how well it works, but hopefully it will get you by until I get the original one fixed.
