There is a couple of other places that is a lot better than that. The best place it in Winchester Bay. Go out to the oyster place, or otherwisw the dump station down Ork Rock Rd. To get there, turn off hwy 101 on the beach road, go about 1 block to a bridg, cross it then turn right, stay on that road to the end, your there. There is all the fresh water you want. And its free to. The other place is at my house. I live here in Winchester Bay also. Straight across from Pelican market. I sell campfire wood. You can see the signs also.
During the week of the 4th of july, the dump station will most likely be closed here because there expanding the sewage treetment plant and they don't want more sewage than what the plant will handle. You will have to go to Reedsport to dump.
Hope this helps you out.

If you coming from the North Tugman Park up by ten Mile lake has a dump station and if you feel like a little Yogi bearing sorta thing like I do every now and then, I would pull into a camp slot and fill my tank with water then be on my way. Sorta like a quick pit stop...
I have actually asked if I could g pay for the water and have told me to just fill and roll.
I think we should get with the folks at the Myrtlewood factory and & least prompt them to have some water available, after all your paying the $20.00 camping fee.
In speaking with the folks at the Myrtlewood factoring last time I stayed there, they do have plans to install some power and water in a few sites.
