it is about 8 miles up the chetco river.  basically, right here in brookings.  only takes about 20 min to get there from our house...........

Great pics DJ. I went there all the time when I was a kid. It was a great place to play in the river. I think we might have to plan a trip over there with our kids soon. How easy is it to get a trailer down there? We always tent camped back in the day.

paved all the way except on the river bar of course, and I only drove about 300 yards..........

we will be back up there next year!
