that looks like a beauty!

how much more room are you gaining?  are you trading yours in, or still trying to sell it?

I'm still trying to sell mine. If you or anyone else here give me a referall that ends up buying it, I will pay you some good $$$$. The trailer is 2ft longer, but I will be losing 1 ft of cargo area. I think I'm losing the cargo area for the bathroom and shower area. Oh well, It makes the Wife happy.

Hey Pat if you can divide your price by 2 I might be able to get that trailer out of your driveway. We are looking to get a bigger trailer soon but just can't afford it right now.

VP, that trailer is going to be nice.

I have a question, Why are you not going to a 5th wheel ?  I am just wondering, it seems like the 5th wheel trailers have more room in them. Also, another question, why not getting a slider ?  I know why I don't want a slid out. They seem to leak alot. At least 2 of our members have the sliders and both of them leak.  When we went from our 25 foot pull trailer to our 32 foot 5th wheel, it seemed like we doubled the space we had.

The only thing that I don't like about our trailer is the hitch. I take it out when I am not usitg it but when I go to use it again, I can't lift the dang thing into the bed. I have to have help. I can't lift that much anymore.

Hey Towman,

What is your overall length between the two setups?  We go to some smaller campgrounds that length is an issue, another reason I haven't gone bigger yet. One thing I like about a TT is I have the truck bed to haul things, but having a shorter overall length and bedroom up front sounds good too.

With the trailer hooked to the pickup, the whole thing is about 48 feet.  Your right, getting it into some spaces is almost imposible.

For me with the trailer hooked up to the truck and rolling down the road I'm 59' 4". The line I use when going to campgrounds is the trailer is 30'. (it is truly classified as a 30 footer, even though it's longer). I have never had a problem getting it into a spot and have seen some make bets that I wouldn't fit. It's fun to see them in the morning and find out they just lost $20.00.

Yeah thats long, I think were rollling at 41'. Some of the older BLM campgrounds at the lakes around here just aren't set up for trailers that big. I think our next trailer will be the 24' Desert Fox. It should be the best of both.

It is long, But you get used to it. Planning your fuel stops is the most important. you got to have an easy approach and exit so you don't get stuck. With the new one I will just be shy of 62ft. I don't think I will notice the difference in length, or so I'm hoping not to.
