anyone own a "Gearbox" by Fleetwood?  Erin and I looked at a 5th wheel, 33.5' Gearbox yesterday.  Damn nice.  every option on that thing you could think of...........just wondering on if there were any "problem" areas that needed to be addressed.............

DJ, I seen a year ago in Toyuhauler magazine where the Gearboxes were falling apart. Something about the floors comming apart from underneeth them. At that time I also heard to stay away from them. But that was a year ago to.

hey dd, well, we put the "shopping" on hold..................the wife just made a career move and will be unemployed for the next 10 months................cant buy a new hauler like that..........

so, we are thinking late 07 or so..............

I work for a local (southern oregon) fleetwood delaer. I have been there 3 &1/2 years & have never seen a gearbox with floor problems. They are very soildly built trailers.  If yu can get a price that you like, they are hard to beat. If anybody wants some more info let me know. And no, I am not a salesman!! Smiley
