they are here in the valley and they are the ones that were at our off road show last year. DJ had posted some pictures of some of the cars they built. At this point they do not have a website, but I think it's in the plans.

Well like the old saying, "I wish I had his rail and he had one better, We both would be tickled"  God I love those rails. I see them here in Winchester Bay and I go down just to watch them.  I remember at the RV show last year he had some of his rails there. Wow, makes you drool.

I didn't have it last year,, I had it built and got it about 3 months ago or so. But he did build another yellow car last year that looked a lot like this one. It had a V8 engine. I run the 2.5 liter Turbo subi. Around 330 HP. It's a LOT of fun and jumps great !

Thats what I'm thinking too. Let's see there's the quad, the suburban(she can walk to work right), and I'm sure theres more.............LOL. That is to cool. I think it would be fun to take the whole family out at once and ride together.

Thanks,,, LOL we did sell my better half's Suzuki 400 quad and put that money into the rail. I also ride a Raptor 660 and she just never felt comfotable on her quad. She was always going around the hills and I always waited on her, which was fine except I KNOW she loves to go fast. So I recomended we get rid of her quad and get a rail so she could get the rush with me.
I'm happy we did, now she gets a big smile while catchin air and sinking into the seats under power. I got the 4 seater so we could also share the fun with friends.
Her only request was that it had a smooth ride,, so with the 20" of travel on all four corners,, I made her happy !

Yep,, that V* rail was nice... if it's the same one. I had mine made to match it exceot the engine. I'm not sorry about that so far.
We wil probably not be at Dune Fest... It is the back to the 50's weekend here in Grants Pass and we also enjoy that. And it's only once a year,, so. Plus we don't ussualy go to the dunes on busy weekend. I enjoy the less busy times much more. But maybe some other time we will run into eachother for that ride.

I remember those rails. I don't think that they make rails any better than those. I looked at the weld on them and I just wish that I could weld that good. What an awesom job they do.

I like that yellow one the best.

When I 1st saw those pic's I thought, WOW, how did they get pictures of my car !! Same color,, same lights, mirror, trunk, everything except the engine and I went with 4 race seats instead of the bench in the back.
And yep...a few $$$$$ but like it was stated,, you only live once and a person may as well do it now while they have the money and health... may not be the story next week.
I hope to NOT work much in a couple years and I know I will be pinching pennies a bit more at that point. But at least I will already have the toy's paid for  Grin

Rob was building one right before mine that went out the door at well over $60K with heated seats and V8 engine with a tranny that cost $6000 alone !! And that's not even high priced compared to a lot of rails on the sand.
I puckered a bit when I bought mine but like I said in an earlier post.... do it while ya can. I just wish that I lived closer to the sand so I could use it more than 1 or 2 times a month.

Yea I think they are a little out of my price range. Plus how the heck would I get it and the trailer full of quads over to the dunes. But they sure look cool. I would just like to ride in one someday. But after I did I'd probably just won't one even more.

Hi, just thought I would let everybody know that we build several different styles of sandrails. every thing from a std. frame with v.w. suspension to the long travel stuff. We also sell bare frames and all the parts separately, so you can put one together youreself and save allot. We have also just built a few of the mid travel cars. Which still have fox shocks and a smooth ride but allot cheaper than the full long travel. Any questions feel free to call the shop at 541-826-5986. Thanks, Rob
