Thanks DuneJunkie, I gave them a call and they have just what I needed at a reasonable price. I bought a wrecked toy hauler and the awning is the final piece to finish the project. Hope to see you over at the dunes this summer. Thanks again.

The guy I talked to was very helpfull. They even come over to Medford every month for delivery's.
And yes these sites are great, for stuff just like this, hopfully I can return the help someday. I will let you know when I'm coming over next time so we can enjoy that cold beverage. Do you always stay at Discovery Point when at Winchester Bay. I've only stayed there once and got stuck in one of the short sites in the back. We normally just sand camp but have not been there since they started the reservation thing.

yea, we normally are at Discovery Point, of the stone road across from DP.  We try to go once a month, but sometimes in the winter its a little diffacult.  I am really not a fan of sand camping any more because @ the end of the long day of riding I like to enjoy a cold one.  hope to see ya up there!  stay tuned to the site for riding dates and future plans! The stone road is really a good place to camp if you don't want to stay at Discovery point. I know that the spaces in DP are really small. I would have a heck of a time getting my truck and trailer into some of them.  Last year at spinreel in Lakeside, we got a space that said it was for up to 45 feet. Well I had to back over the curb to get my trailer into it and it is only 32 feet.

Yep, Towman, you are very right!  The stone road is only ten bucks!  But, you have to make sure that you have water and electric on board, because, there ain't know hook ups over there.  We had 2 toyhaulers over there last year for a 4 day weekend.  It was a blast, and at the time it was $5.00 a night, it was cheap!  Just had to run the gen for power!

A great alternative to DP if they are booked full!

Is the Stone Road a actual camp ground and were is it in relationship to DP and the dunes?

We call it the stone road, but it is located just across the highway from DP. On the sharp corner right at DP, just go strait and you're on it. It is $10.00 a night right now and you can drink there to. It is really easy to get to the dunes as well.  That is the area where Douglas County is going to be building the new campground. It was suppose to be built sometime this year, but the previous parks director isn't with Douglas county anymore. I don't know if the new director will be as good as the old one. So I don't know when it will be built now.

This stone road is the location where The Wizards has there dune and beach cleanup at. We really like it there.

Not really a campground yet, but is slowly becoming one.
Stone (or Triangle road as I have always called it) is directly across the street from Discovery Point.
