Anyone here have a add a room for there rear ramp? We were thinking about getting one to make the trailer bigger with out buying a bigger trailer. I was wondering if it was weather tight and what the roof was made out of? Also how hard is it to put up?

We have one but have never even taken it out of the box yet. It has an alum frame(like a tent), and the room itself is the canvas material. My only thought is, what would keep people from being able to get into your trailer from there when your on a ride. Water tight seems not to be an issue from the way it looks to be put on the trailer. From what I have heard, it should only take about 15 min to put up.

Thanks for the info Pat. Where did you buy yours or did it come with the trailer? I suppose it would make your trailer easier to get into but like anything else if someone really wants in they will find a way. Is it possible to take the frame work down and close the ramp if you know you will be gone for a long time?

So I am way behind on this one, but hopefully this helps. I bought the "add-a-room" for my trailer. I have used it once in 6 years. For use at the Oregon coast it is just to chilly in the evening to have what is basically an open air trailer. If I were to ride at a warmer location I think it would be a great addition, but for the Oregon coast it was a waste of money....my .02
