Grin Welcome to the site. I would say more in the first topic and welcoming of all, but i'm off to the dunes with the family. Will be back late on fathers day. Have a wonderful day and enjoy.

silver lets get together with the family and ride. New to the sand and could use insight on where to go.

If anyone is up for the Imperial Sand Dunes in So Cal, let me know.  The areas here include Glamis, Gordon's Well, and Buttercup (the latter two are known as the south dunes).  Also, there are areas that are more of hard pack riding with some sand here and there.  These are Ocotillo, and Superstition Mountain.

So far looks like a good site.

this is the way a new site should take off. I'm glad to see it and also glad to see so many Cummins owners, Now I know we can all make it on a trip without any breakdowns. (Just kidding). Anyways just got back from N Bend and it was a great trip. Next  trip will be in the last week of july at Florence. anyone interested let me know.

Had a blast at the Great Outdoors! Lots of cool prizes and good eats too! I bought my toy hauler from them and saved enough $$$ to pay for my membership for the next 20 years or so. Love these member discounts.

Hey Crwyman,
I bet my V-10's a bigger gas hog! Going over the mountains I get about 4.8.....once it levels out I average about 6.4 Grin

yeh, you also have to look at the fact that you are towing twice as much weight.  My average is 6.5 and 8.0
