If anyone is up for the Imperial Sand Dunes in So Cal, let me know.  The areas here include Glamis, Gordon's Well, and Buttercup (the latter two are known as the south dunes).  Also, there are areas that are more of hard pack riding with some sand here and there.  These are Ocotillo, and Superstition Mountain.

this is the way a new site should take off. I'm glad to see it and also glad to see so many Cummins owners, Now I know we can all make it on a trip without any breakdowns. (Just kidding). Anyways just got back from N Bend and it was a great trip. Next  trip will be in the last week of july at Florence. anyone interested let me know.

 Yeah temporary insandity hooked us up with some awesome gifts at the raffle at the great outdoors in Central Point. Flags, music, clothes, gift certificates, it was totally awsome. YEAH

  I bet my V-10's a bigger gas hog! Going over the mountains I get about 4.8.....once it levels out I average about 6.4

yeh, you also have to look at the fact that you are towing twice as much weight.  My average is 6.5 and 8.0

With all the web sites out there, there is a lot of knowlageable people that visit them. I myself have found out a lot of good information from a lot of the people that is on them.  And I also have met a lot of people to.  About 60% of our group Sand Wizards, met on the puter some how.
