How many of you use a fuel additive with your tow vehicle?? I have used RedLine Diesel fuel treatment since the first tank and every tank since. Is this Needed or a waste of money???

I will run a cleaner for my gassers once in a while, just because all the moisture on the coast is bound to poison the tanks around here.
On the diesel side, I am not running anything now, but, I have been told to run Stanadyne. It is backed by GM and helps improve performance by quicker response, better mpg, and no more black smoke.............
There isnt a Standyne dealer very close to my commute route, so I use Power Service.

If you live in Oregon, then I say yes a diesel additive is needed. Oregon does not regulate diesel fuel quality, we become a dumping ground for all the bad diesel in the west.
