heck, on my income level I can only afford to pimp my 19' tailgator.  But, if suits us just fine.  Now, don't take me the wrong way, if you bought if for me for x-mas, I would gladly accept!

I really like the way DJ's trailer is layed out. It is really nice. It sure looks like it is bigger than 19 foot.

We almost got a tail-gater a year before the warrior. They seem to be ahead of the time with some of the layout and features like the ez lube axle etc. Good units.

thanks guys! Kiss  Anyway, we tried to have just a regular box trailer, but, it takes a lot of effort and $ to convert it into something comfortable.  heat, fridge, sleeping and such.  So, we were NOT in the market for a toyhauler, but, walked through an rv show, and ended up with one.  They wanted 21,000 for that thing!  I told them they were way too high for me, got them down to 14!  now thats a deal!  there is more to the story but I won't bore you with it!  not a bad price for it.  We have been extremely happy with it.  The wife would not be going to the dunes with me so much if she had to sleep in that old box/cargo trailer!

Hey everyone, been gone for a while.
Good looking rig, but I'm sure it's price tag is over 50k. Shocked  Anyone starting to notice these things starting to sky rocket in price? I recall back some years ago toyhaulers in the 30-40ft range could be had fo about 30k.

I saw one of the 40ft Warriors and the price was about $70,000, then I saw a 40ft Sierra by Forest River same exact floor plan without the lcd's of course but come on were camping and it was only $45,000 same exact floor plan. I asked the Warrior dealer to tell me why the Warrior was so much money and to be honest he could not explain at least good enough to satisfy me.

I think we should design and market or own line of Toy Haulers.  We use them all the time and could probably come up with a couple different models and floor plans that really work for how people actually use them.  We could call them Weekend Insandity's.  Then we can develop the high end models and stuff it full of every cool, got to have, over the top, accessory and of course add major bling appeal.  We can call these the "Testosterona's"
The VP can be our Sales Rep. and the commercials can boast, "Our prices are so low, you will think we are INSANE!"

This could really work.

DJ can be in charge of Internet Sales and Marketing.

allstateagent not only can provide insurance coverage he probably has contacts for financing.

Towman can be the outside sales rep. displaying each model at his home in Winchester Bay for great advertising exposure.

VP has the contacts in the industry and can do the infomercials on late night TV and national TV commercials.

And of course our very own duraraptor can be in charge of R&D, testing each unit, at home, in his driveway.  (I think he'll have water by then.)

Dune dude, I think you might have something there.

I bought my toyhauler a year ago and it is a SandPiper made by forest river. It has everything that any other 5th wheel trailer has, and then some. You name it and I think this trailer has it. I do have to say that I have found some things that they could have built better. When we purchased it, it didn't have an oven in it. Because of something to do with the factory burinin down. Well we went through a friend and bought a stainless steel stove and oven, and had our other friend install it. Its an 2005 model and we paid $32,000.00 for it. The Tahoe trailers with not at all the same options as ours went for $38,000.00 at that time.  I feel good about buying mine.

Now I wish I would have bought a bigger one.
