Hey, I'm a new member on here but my Jeep club may be interested in helping out with this. Is it going to start at the Horsfall beach parking lot? If you have more info, that would be nice.

That would be great Falloutboy!  We need al the help we can get.

We are having a meeting this coming week-end to try work out some of the details - so I will definitely let you know

I know we have Les Shaub in for the trash bags -- We're working on a dumpster - and just were to post collection stations.

Also - look up Temporary Insandity on Facebook

Hey DJ - we wish you could make it too.

Looks like the starting point and trash turn in point is going to be right as you come going towards Horsefall, at the bottom of boxcar where the food concessions were located for Sandfest.  It's private property so we don't have to worry with forest land issues.  We will designate (from those that want) people to drive their pick ups or side x sides to pick up and issue bags to those working the dunes.  Because it's such a huge area we want to help folks out.

Okay - that's all I have for now - I'll up-date soon.

For those that can help we sure look forward to seeing you!

October 9th.

Thanks,

Is there a flyer for this event that I can hand out to people and cross post? Is there a phone number or email address I can direct people to if they have questions?

If you don't have a flyer, I got bored and made one up real quick. Tell me what you think:

Great Flyer, I would have paid money for that one. It's great to see people like you with our club.

Ok, so I had a friend tell me that the driveway to the sandfest parking lot is blocked off at the moment due to the road construction. I'm not sure how accurate he is or which lot you planned on using but I will stop tomorrow on my way home and take a look.
Posted on: September 28, 2010, 09:50:40 PM
so the gravel lot is full of construction equipment and there is a pile of sand blocking half of the entrance to where the main stage was. It looks like they are 90% done with the road work though.

I took a couple pictures in case anyone is really curious. I can post them if you want me to...

I didn't think to bring my camera, but there was a really good turn out. We filled my utility trailer (just under 5'X8') with trash. Thanks to everyone who came and I look forward to it next year.
