CHAIN CARE
« on: May 01, 2010, 09:32:49 AM »

See alot of chain problems connected to PRESSURE WASHING. It pushes dirt/sand/water  past the O-rings inside where you dont want it. Every one is running a good O-ring chain right? If you run in the sand you probably dont need a pressure washer on the chain when your done and a little WD-40 is good to keep it from rusting. Heavier lube attracts the sand. If your chain is all kinked up when your parked you want to change it soon.
I run Regina Gold O-ring  chain and change the chain and sprockets yearly or sooner if needed. Beats getting damage from a broken chain. Running a case saver helps too. I only run my quads on the sand .
I dont ride in heavy mud , I hope some readers on here have some tips for that.
