LOCK 'EM UP
« on: June 16, 2009, 06:17:15 AM »

One of my customers found someone had tried to steel there quads while they were gone. The chain they had there quads locked up with had been worked on with a Hack saw.
On my Trailer I have a hitch lock by Gorilla, and a cable thru the rim locked around the trailer frame. And the quads will have a cable lock or chain on them , even inside the garage. over kill for sure , but I have not lost a quad .

All very good ideas.

I too used to use a twist throttle, When I gave my quad to Jeanne, however, I put the thumber back on it as she had issues in the whoops.  I still have the stocker on my new quad which seems to be working okay this time.
Definitely, twist is not for all - and if you change take some time to learn how it works before trying the big hills and long whoop sections.

Sandflickers right , try a quad out with a twist throttle first . It is a big investment to do it and not like it.

Strange thread.... Smiley   starts out talking about securing your stuff and goes into twist throttles.  I need to spend some time on here and figure out how all of this works.  Either that or have a few drinks first and I am sure it will all make sense.  Smiley

Don't some adult beverages come with twist tops?

Jarrod,
I think that's just how it works.  Somebody starts a thread - then some one else makes a general comment in another direction - then we forget where we started in the first place.

See, now we're on twist off tops on bottles.

Now that isn't where this thing started - but I'm glad we don't have to carry around a church key anymore.
Well - I hear some did a long time ago.  Pop a top again
