Well, it's been a while since anybody has posted anything on towing/hauling so I figured I'd tell everyone what has happened lately. Some of you may know my buddy Dillon . Well , this last Sept. he got married to a wonderfull girl down in Newport . When I drove from McMinnville to Newport and back to McMinnville my truck got a pretty good 28 m.p.g. The truck is an '04 Dodge cummins that has recently been dynoed out at 652 h.p. and 1418 ft. lb. of tourqe . At Sandfest , we drove down wieghing in at just under 17,000 lbs. and got 19.5 m.p.g. witch goes to so you that h.p. = mileage . And for the fun stuff , we went to the Washington county truck pulls this year and placed 4th out of 16 . The only trucks that could beat me , had wieghts hanging off the front of thier trucks . So , this year we are going to fix that problem by putting wieghts on the front of mine . At the Amity truck pulls , we had tranny temp. problems ( too cold = no lock up @ high r.p.m.s ), so we had to settle for 4th place there as well . But on a brighter note , this year I should have everything dialed in and ready to go ! Well , that's about all I've been doing . Hopefully , everyone is doing great . I wish you all a great year .

Impressive fuel mileage, and Horse power/torque numbers. Lets us know on here when the next pulls are, sounds like a fun time. Do you have any photos of your truck pulling?

Hey Shane, assuming you would stoop so low as too consider a Powerstroke worthy of conversation (ha ha), do you have any recommendations for a good chip for a 2000 Excursion? I'm not wanting monster horsepower, just a decent bump and better tranny programming.
Suggestions?

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you . The Edge juice w/ attitude is probably our best selling programmer . It works very well with all makes and models ( unlike other chips that work well on one truck , but not the other). The install is pretty simple and should only take a cuple hours to do .

I removed the Edge from my 05 6.0 PSD. The power comes on too aggressive and the tranny takes a beating......as well as the fact that the SCT controls the tranny much better than the Edge. Also, my FICM got fried last August......the Edge plugs right into it. Coincidence? Don't think so. My truck has been riddled with breakdowns & repairs the whole 2 1/2 years I was using the Edge Juice w/Attitude. Since I removed it in August 2008 I have had ZERO breakdowns or symptons. Coincedence? Doesn't appear that way to me. For the 7.3L PSD I recommend the SCT or DP Tuner. -James
