Minor Setbacks
« on: January 23, 2009, 06:48:21 AM »

It's funny how a person tries to better them selves and all these little things keep getting in their way. Me for example, I snow board with my children and brake my shoulder, and tear my MCL ( different occasion) just wanting to spend more time with them. Last year I blow a disk on my neck riding quads. Now I wear this Cool neck brace and keep doing it. My boys got me to play racquetball with them and I thought it was great. Well Last night I broke my foot going for a ball. It's rough trying to get around on crutches. Is it just me or is getting older and not acting like it a tough bill to pay? Grin

OLD AGE AND TREACHERY WILL ALWAYS OVERCOME YOUTH AND SKILL. OR DIE TRYING. LOL
I'm off recovering too, had an op on Jan 6th- Doctors releasing me Feb 1st and I'm going to the dunes shortly there after. Keeping up with the kids is expensive.....................LOL
Missing all of January riding has sucked.
I'm suffering from dune/sand  withdrawl or something like it.  Everything is starting to look like sand dunes........

The sacrifices Great Fathers make for there kids...........priceless

Get well soon

Just be sure that you don't go so fast that your Angel can't keep up with you Grin

In the shape I'm in now, I don't think I can move faster than a turtle. I'm already tired  of crutches!

Hey there Pat,

Man, you've been going through it lately.  Hope you heal up soon!

Keep us posted on your recovery!

Oh, about the getting old thing, I'll hear none of that. LOL
