The rope swing near Spinreel, a landmark for years, is no more  it was the only negative part of our ride on Saturday . So I'm thinken about getting duners together to celebrate the rope swings contribution to our riding experience and the meeting place. My suggestion is an evening meeting at the old rope swing and have a bon fire using the now downed tree for fuel. I'm thinking Saturday Jan 17th, weather permitting ...... when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.... Any interest? |

The whole tree came down it looks like the last storm eroded the roots and high winds blew it the rest of the way over.
I got some pics with my cel phone I can try and get them in my computer and post them here. my buddy got some real digi camra pics but has yet to upload and email.
We are lacking enthusiasm for the bon fire at this pointso we might have to do it latter, still going riden saturday though.
