EVS R.C. Evolution
« on: November 11, 2008, 07:20:53 AM »

Well I got a chance to try out EVS's new RC evolution neck brace.  http://www.evs-sports.com/store/?category_id=4&item_id=216 This brace comes with a little assembly required and once done (about 5 min) it's ready to go. I installed mine with the optional strap system to be worn without a chest protector. It does have a built in spine protection system. The system is very comfortable and with your helmet on you can immeadatly feel how it will prevent you from jarring your neck. On the trail, It has great ventilation and when you hit one of those unexpected drops, you can feel it literally lift your helmet and protect you from a jarred neck (or even worse, Another blown disk). I was able to ride fast and hard with this on and had no repercussion. The RC-Evolution comes in 4 different sizes and is adjustable within those sizes to fit you well.  Temporaryinsandity gives them a thumbs up for this one.

Glad to hear someone has tried one out, I have been looking at one for a couple months now at Grand Prix cycles in Albany. They love them, and promote there use at the local track. I will be getting one. Thanks for the info.
