A group of riders from Lebanon and Albany are going to Florence again this Saturday for another great day out on the dunes. We should pull in around 10 AM. We will try and park at the wall. Everyone has there favorite spots , so our rides go all over. Hope some of you can make it. SANDDEMON
Posted on: September 24, 2008, 07:48:43 PM Wow , What a great trip. 15 riders and support crews. Found some new areas to ride on. And the Ride down the Beach at low tide was fantastic. Whole lot of racing and jumping and roosting. ( dont roost the camera dude). Got alot of video and photos. We rode for 8 hours. I SPOTTED A NEW POLARIS RZR-S, GOT SOME VIDEO AND PHOTOS OF IT. VERY NICE, POLARIS REALLY GOT IT RIGHT THIS TIME. SOME LUCKY GUY HAS ONE ALREADY.

Good to hear you had a great time. We've decided we're going next week-end, probably Coos Bay. Two groups / one rig to off-set some of the cost, and most likely just for the day.

Bitter sweet! We drove over to Winchester for a day trip. And though my son, Step-dad and I had a full ride, my wife, well not so much. We were back in the third finger with the beautiful over view of the lake. My wife decided to climb one of the sides, popped a wheelie at the top and fell on her butt. She complained of the pain all the way home, and I took her in just to make sure nothing was broken. Well - she fractured one the vertebra in her lower back. Now she'll be on the mend for a long time. I didn't think it was too bad of a fall, but it goes to show what I know. She's now on some pretty good meds - I feel for her - she seems to always be the one that pays for me having a good time. Doc says not much to be done - rest and time - up to 6 weeks to heal.

Collin, Sorry to hear about Jeanne. I hope she is feeling better soon, and things are not too tough on you.
