Membership drive in Salem?
« on: August 20, 2008, 07:46:21 PM »

Are any of our great members interested in doing a membership drive at #1 Cycle Sports in Salem in September?  I am looking for volunteers.  I am willing to bring out the club trailer to this event if  I can get some help.

Any of our friends up North interested in helping the club bring in some more members?

Drop me a line and let me know...

Have we ever done a membership drive in Albany at the    Albany Motorsports Park  33648 Berry Drive ?
541-928-4474              www.albanymx.com

They have a Drag strip in back of the super cross track. Some weekends they mix up the quad racing with jeeps, trucks , rails. Other weekends they have just Quads running. Some 2 day , 3-4 day events are held here. All classes , kids too. Bring ear plugs and sunscreen, sunshade. you can walk around and talk to builders, racers, look at some very trick quads,  2 strokes and 4, triples.  Bring your quad and run it if you like. This is a dirt  track , not asphalt. Tilled to loosen it up, watered to keep dust down. lots of traction. most people drop  a couple paddles from what they run on the sand.
I believe it is the  sport bike class for quads. During the week they hold practices and  I'll stop for lunch and watch. Then head over on the weekend to see the races. I drive thru Linn  county every day M-F , lots of ATV owners here, builders (Red Line), manufacturers (Mod Quad). maybe we could set up a booth/sunshade on the west side behind the Bleachers , they let some other sponsors/vendors do that.  Sell some T-shirts answer questions and pick up some new members.
what about the track in Riddle Or ??
